Enchanted Childhood Preschool ~ Fall Finale! Finally!

I love fall art projects. And nature outings. And books. So we took 4 weeks to have some serious fall fun.  This week we did a few cute projects!

We painted with Indian corn (from Poppaw John's garden).

We made gorgeous "fall leaves" with coffee filters and watercolors.
(lines made ahead of time with a glue gun)

Lots of busy work in the classroom!

The older children loved matching art cards from Free Spirit Kids!
She made this custom set for us and we LOVE it!

Thursdays are cleaning days in the classroom!
Everyone pitches in and is proud to help keep their classroom neat and clean!

And, as always, we spent several hours outside!

Each week I join several linky parties!  What a fun way to share and learn!

  1. What fun for the kids using corn to paint and design with! You'll need to give me a tip about getting them to joining in the cleaning up.

  2. What lovely messy and creative art designs, the filters and glue gun are such a fab idea and the leaves came out brilliantly. What a superb environment for learning, it's obvious how much fun they have in natures playground together. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.

  4. Wow...just found your blog through your link on No Time For Flash Cards, so I'm new around here...are these all your children? Do you run a homeschooling daycare?

    1. For a few years we ran a family daycare. Hannah (the "daughter" ) has two little girls ages 1 and 3. NanaKerri (the "mama") now runs a small, in home, Montessori-inspired, mornings only preschool. Hannah (who lives next door to NanaKerri and the preschool) does a few hours of afternoon daycare for some of the preschool children. (confused yet?! lol) NanaKerri writes the weekly "preschool" post every Saturday.

  8. Nice Article, So when you visit Playschool Franchisee
look to see if teachers smile and are generally encouraging of children. Look to see how the teachers interact with the other children in the classroom and if there seem to be strong connections between them. Also talk to parents at the school about their experience.
