Out of The Mouths of Children

Psalms 8:2 ~ Out of the mouths of children and infants you have ordained praise. (NIV)

Today our oldest daycare boy (4 years old) started belting out a song.  He didn't know all of the words and he didn't have the tune quite right. But he sang that song with more heart than could possibly be in his chest, with more strength than grown men, with more meaning than he could even mean. He sang his song loud and proud for all to hear. He sang, and out of his mouth came praise. His smile was bigger than his whole face and his eyes shown like the stars at night. We all eventually joined in praising God in our loud, off tune, skipped words, beautiful worship. Even Bunny laughed and smiled for joy (she loves music)! What a wonderful way to end our morning. A blessing that we weren't expecting. If church is what I believe it is, coming together and worshipping and praising God, then I can honestly say that we had church today!

You Never Let Go

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear
And even when I'm caught in the middle of the storms of this life
I won't turn back
I know you are near

And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me
Whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?

(Chorus:)
Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me

And I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
A glorious light beyond all compare
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
We'll live to know You here on the earth

(Chorus)

Yes, I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
Still I will praise You, still I will praise You

(Chorus x2)
