An Enchanted Childhood~ Daycare: March 28- April 1st

We are having a baby!  Babies.  OK--Baby Chicks!!  We have owned and used an incubator many times to hatch out eggs-the last time was two years ago.  It was time to introduce the newest children to this miracle! A mama brought us fertile eggs, which we investigated both in and out of the shell.  We candled the eggs the day we began incubation and again a few days later... looking for telltale signs of life.

For our reading time, we read Henny Penny.  We did a few art activities to go along with our chicken theme.

And we wait.
