Crafting Along with needle and thREAD

I decided to try something a little different with a square neckline for Bunny's newest dress.

I just love what a couple of clearanced fat quarters and a half priced remnant can turn into.

Total cost of this dress was about $2.50.

Bunny's cute little smile when she asks, "Mama make dat?"

Priceless!

I wonder what this sweet print will turn into...

With bunnies, birdies, bees, and squirrels, it is sure to be interesting!
In our family, we give the babies little nicknames.. like Bunny and Squirrely.  My sister's two little girls just happen to be .. Birdy and YEP, Bee!!  So we were a little giddy to find this print at Etsy for $4 a yard.. my mama (the nana) bought all 9.5 yards!

What am I reading?
All sorts of birthing books...

  4. That is a precious, and simply sweet dress! My baby girl is all grown up and married, now. But I'll post some very comfy wrap pants that I made for her, when I get a moment, because I need to make myself a pair, now!

  6. That dress is so beautiful! A perfect little girl dress, and it's so versatile - if it's cold she can just wear a long-sleeved T-shirt under! I'm curious to see what you'll make out of the other print

    1. The book: It is a very basic guide for midwives. With having an upcoming homebirth, I find it a source of good info on how the body works, homeopathics and herbs, etc.
