Crafting Along With needle and thREAD

Today I am hemming curtains.

Since I am planning to set up my labor/birthing pool in front of the sliding glass door in my kitchen, I figured I should probably hang some curtains first.

I told myself that I wasn't allowed to sew anything else until this is done.

The book I am reading is Sacred Pregnancy by Anni Daulter.

I am linking up with needle and thREAD and Keep Calm and Craft On!

  1. That might be a good idea...not that you'd care in the middle of labor.

  2. True.. but my main concern is to not traumatize my 75 year old grandfather.. who could possibly see me laboring away LOL

  3. I remember setting up the birthing pool for my last birth and was so lucky to have curtains. It makes all the difference in being able to let go. Not sure I could have birthed successfully without them. Hope you get the done quickly. If not, you can always buy that iron on seam stuff. I have never used it before, but I have heard that it is great and super fast. God Bless.
