How To Tuesday: Cottontail Cape

Bunny's all time favorite book is Peter Rabbit.

So, when I saw this red wool sweater at GoodWill, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.

I lopped off the sleeves
(which I saved for another project).

Then I turned it inside out and sewed up the arm holes.

Now Bunny has a cape just like Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail!

Couldn't resist adding this last picture of Bunny...
She thought she just had to stand on the cape while we took pictures!
Funny little girlie!

I joined in the fun over at WIP Wednesday, Homemade By YouWhimsy Wednesday,

  1. Ohhh, this is super cute. What a clever idea. It reminds me of a wonderful red nurses cape my great aunty gave me when I was little. Mmm, I wonder what happened to it...
