Crafting Along With needle and thREAD

This week I have begun working on Halloween costumes for the girls.
Squirrely is going to be a... You guessed it! A squirrel!

I started with a grey sweat jacket.

Got some minky and cut out a tail...

Then pinned and sewed it together...

Turned it and stuffed it...

Attached the tail to the jacket...

Hand sewed the top...

Added some ears to the hood...

TADA!

Grey Squirrel, Grey Squirrel, shake your bushy tail!

This week and for the next several weeks, I will be reading Real Moms... Real Jesus, by Jill Savage, for the Young Mamas' Life Group through our church. My mama is the leader. We meet each Saturday morning, at my parents' home, for fellowship, our lesson, and snacks, while the children run amuck.
