Crafting Along: Stick Horse

The other day Bunny and I were hanging out while little sister napped. I was sitting on the couch and she was riding my leg like a horse. After a while of this, my leg grew tired. I asked her to stop. She said in dismay, "Well, what can be my horse then?" So we set to work, making her a horse.

I found THIS tutorial on Pinterest, and modified it just a little to work better with the wool sweaters I had saved for upcycling. Bunny picked what sweater we would use, and we made an afternoon of cutting, piecing, and sewing.

Bunny did most of the stuffing, and when Papa got home, he went out and cut a stick.

And there you have it. Bunny's custom, upcycled stick horse.

I will try to add a pic of her riding it later.
But the truth is, she is not the best at holding still.
