Our First Fairy Garden

We made our first fairy garden!
Soooo exciting!
Bunny was so happy to help!

We left a little clay pot for some possible gift exchanges between us and the fairies!

We gifted them with a little birdhouse gourd from Poppaw John's Garden!

Oh my... look what the fairies did with our gift to them.... they decorated it!

Looks like they left us a gift!  Little tiny pink rocks ... enough to share with all the playschool friends!

A few days later, we left them our first cleome bloom.
Oh how sweet, in return, they brought Bunny a wood baby!

Such fun, magical, enchanted times!

If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder without any such gift from the fairies, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement and mystery of the world we live in” ~ Rachel Carson

Good thing we have fairies!

  1. I love it. We are trying to make a fairy garden in a little plot in our backyard, but I think we are overwhelmed with the choices. You have the right mix of stuff, hopefully we can copy some of them. My favorite part is the bowl for the fairies and you to exchange gifts.
