Enchanted Childhood Preschool ~ Fall Fun!

This week and next we will be focusing on FALL!

Our first project was to paint pinecones!

Then we headed outside to hammer some hickory nuts!

 And take a nature hike!

The following day, we took a walk to Poppaw John's garden!

As for inside learning, we have started making patterns, with nuts and acorns, of course!

Our Montessori Learning Time is going great!

Using a mortar and pestle to crush baked egg shells for the chickens to eat (calcium) was a very loved activity, but very messy!

The determined look as he tried to cut "a triangle for my mom"!

 and succeeds!

The children enjoyed this fun fall project!

And then back outside for more nut cracking....

nature path hiking (or running!)...

 mountain climbing...

mud sliding...

and hand holding! (love the muddy bottoms!)

What a great week at Enchanted Childhood Preschool!
