Mr McGregor's Garden

Poppaw John (NanaKerri's father, Hannah's grandfather, Bunny and Squirrely's GREATgrandfather) has a wonderful garden.  All the children love going there.  Each week, there are new things to discover.

fresh sugar snap peas!

carrots pulled from the earth and washed off in a bucket of water.. kinda.

"baby" broccoli

onions

some loved the onions.. and some wanted to love the onions

radishes were tried and mostly rejected

spinach, kale, and lettuces were nibbled

some of the children took it upon themselves to remove beetles from the potato plants,
thus contributing to the health of the garden they love so much!

oh my! so much magic and learning and wonderful summer memories happen right here in ...

  2. Oh my your girl is brave, she straight up tried the onion. I'm not really a fan of raw onions. What I wouldn't give to have peas and carrots right now! Sounds like a wonderful visit. :)

  3. What a wonderful garden with such lovely produce - home grown is definitely the best! It's great that the children are encouraged to try a variety of vegetables and see how it's grown too. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
