Baby Essentials: Amber Necklaces

What is the first thing you think of when you think of teething babies?
 Screaming? Crying? Sleepless nights?
Slobbering little mouths that chew on everything in sight?
I think of amber necklaces.

Ever since before Squirrely was born, and more so now, I have been searching my mental archives to remember what things I loved from Bunny's babyhood. Amber necklaces are one of the few things I consider a true necessity. Isn't it amazing that pharmaceutical companies keep looking for new ways to ease pain, treat ailments, and cure diseases, all the while the answers are found in nature.

I blogged about them here:
I found more info on amber and how it works here:

I just ordered Squirrely's first amber necklace and can't wait to get it in the mail.
Oh the suffering it will surely save us both.

Bunny, who is cutting her two year old molars, still wears amber. If we happen to forget to put it on her, you can certainly tell the difference. I plan to keep her wearing amber even after all of her teeth are though.

  2. Hannah, do you have any experience with their Hazelwood necklaces? Cash gets very upset in the evenings--cries and cries--and I was wondering if it was some type of acid or digestive upset, or maybe colic? I thought maybe hazelwood (or Amber) might help. Any thoughts?

Also, how long is IBF offering their discount to your readers?

    1. Mia~ I haven't tried them, but I certainy would if my baby had tummy trouble. Amber might do the trick, but Hazel wood seems to be more tummy/acid specific. My code will work for the next two weeks.

Also, you might look into having him adjusted by a chiropractor. It is amazing the things that an out of whack vertebra can effect.

  3. So I ordered the Hazelwood necklace for Cash, and an Amber one for my grandmother who has severe rheumatoid arthritis. Thanks for the coupon code--I'll let you know how the necklaces work!

  4. Before your code runs out, I wanted to order amber necklaces for teething Billy and perhaps Isia too. What kind of amber do you prefer? I'm looking at all the options and favoring the yellow round, but would love your opinion on what's worked best for Bunny!

    1. I have always read that the lighter the color the more pain relieving properties it has. Same with unpolished. Bunny wears the 13-14 inch size. Squirrly CAN wear that, but the 10-11 inch is what I have used for infants.

  5. Hi :)
I tried your code but it doesn't work anymore; if you get a new one for 25% off, I'd love to know what it is. I have a 7 month old with bad teething pain :(
    Thank you! Beatriz
