{this moment} - A Friday ritual, inspired by SouleMama, capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see.
she chose this work herself
she acted rather surprised when, at last, we pointed out that her drawing looked a lot like the poster on the wall..as if she had no clue it was even there
this is why we choose to surround children with beauty, nature, art, good food, excellent books, respect, kindness, and all sorts of goodness
you never know when they just might absorb it and make it their own
Guess that has already been said though:
Beautiful, in so many ways :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
How beautiful! Kandinsky is one of my absolutely favorite visual artists. We believe in surrounding children with beauty and excellence too! And we believe in Philippians 4:8 : ) Have a happy weekend with your budding artists!

Have a wonderful weekend!
What a fabulous moment! And I love your words paired with the picture!
ReplyDeleteOur moment this week comes from my youngest daughter writing her first words. She has been writing her name for awhile, though the Ms are usually upside down, but this was the first time that she has written the word "Love". I love that love was her first written word (beyond her name)!
