Snow Ice Cream is definitely one the "good" things about Snow Days
vanilla
or chocolate
with sprinkles!
This week, two of our boys turned FOUR!
Most days, we were able to spend some good time in the classroom.
Each week, the children get so excited to see what new work or activity I have set out for them.
This week there were several new things, but the most favorite was the Red Knobless Cyclinder Blocks (we just call them the red cyclinder blocks).
The children loved them and used them often this week.
(they will be so excited as I introduce the remaining three boxes over the next few weeks!)
I introduced a little "continent" game to the children and they loved it and did quite well.
After reviewing the continents, I had them close their eyes while I handed out the continents.
After opening their eyes, I called for each continent to be placed back in the puzzle.
They did well at identifying the continents they had been given and asked to play this game several times.
This week we studied the Letter J!
Our Discovery Tray included several letters, a jellybean puzzle, jellyfish, and jars.
We made cute little jellyfish...
for our take home paper
and to play with.
We read a story about jellyfish (and they begged to have it re-read) to finish out the week!
Each week I join several linky parties! What a fun way to share and learn!

I fell inlove with the puzzle. Where did you get it? Love the letters too! I just wish I am able to do some of that despite my busy schedule. My kids will definitely love that.
ReplyDeleteHi Denise! We get almost all our Montessori items from Montessori Outlet.
DeleteThose jelly fish are adorable! I'm pinning it. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI love that you are teaching the kids about continents with your baby on your lap!
